With hedge rows disappearing and agricultural land being taken over for recreational pastimes and housing, our wildlife’s natural pantry is not what it once was. With this in mind, it is important for us to all do our bit to encourage wildlife to flourish in conserved areas and to support it elsewhere. This can be achieved by supporting wildlife and conservation trusts, for example, or far more simply by feeding wild birds at home. Traditionally a winter pastime, more and more of us are now choosing to feed the wild birds that come into our garden and an increasing number of us are doing so throughout the whole year.
In addition to providing food for our feathered visitors, it’s also important to provide a source of water, to keep feeding tables clean and to keep all food away from the reach of predators, although the persistent squirrel is guaranteed to get his fill at some stage!
Why choose the Willowbrook Wildlife range?
Drawing on a wealth of experience, we have carefully selected grains and seeds of the highest quality to put together a range of mixes and straights that will not only help support the nutritional requirements of birds but that will also attract a diverse range of them into your garden.
